Condition of Goods
All products purchased from
Residtronics are new from the manufacturers with full manufacturers
warrantees. All products unless specified are in the manufactures original
packaging, and have never been opened, unless by custom officials in
exporting to other countries which is out of our control. If goods
received has been previously opened, please contact us immediately and we
will take care of the problem in a timely matter.
Special Orders -
Custom Orders
On all special order products such as
Vutec Art Art Screens, Kinetic panels and ceiling tiles, AudioTec, and
Acoustics First panels and
Ceiling tiles, AS Ceiling tiles, Shoppingetronics takes a 50% down payment
on day of ordering and Sign-off of product, the balance including shipping
will be charged to your account, (credit card etc.), 48 hours prior to shipping.
If after sign-off and commencement of
production the client cancels the order, there will be a 20% restocking
fee.
Shipping
Most products over $75.00, or a combination of products over $75.00 sold at
Residtronics.com ship for free (ground) to all
points throughout the contiguous USA .All products sold outside the
contiguous USA will be charged shipping costs. We will give the customer
an approximated cost via email within 48 hours of ordering. Exact shipping
charges will be deducted from there form of payment at shipping. Residtronics.com
is not responsible for any duties or taxes.
Many of our products weigh over
100
pounds and can not be shipped via UPS. These high weight products are shipped by
freight truck and include free curbside delivery (also called tailgate
delivery). Once your item has shipped, your shipment tracking
information will be emailed to you. In the case where an item ships via
freight truck, the freight company will call you before delivery to set
up an agreeable delivery date and time. In the case of freight truck
delivery, the free shipping includes delivery to your home or office,
but does not include "inside delivery". You may purchase
"inside delivery" separately from the freight company or from
us if you wish. To purchase it from us, give us a call at 1-877-5tronic.
The charge is generally between $30 and $60.
Delivery schedule
Many products sold by Residtronics Inc. are custom built, and have to be
signed off by the client before shipping. Delivery time can vary, and in
many cases up to 3-4 weeks delivery. Most custom cable wire orders will be
shipped within 5 business days. Items in stock will be shipped within 48
hours of order placement. Most items have free shipping, and are shipped
via ground, You will receive an email with all delivery details and
tracking numbers. It is a must you supply us wit a valid email address
and phone number.
Warranties
All items on this web site are new and unused. All items carry full
manufacturers' warranties. Residtronics Inc. has a 20-day exchange
policy on defective items. The warranty period begins upon purchase of
an item, except in the case of a "special order/custom" or
"backorder." In those cases the warranty period begins upon
delivery of the item. If an item comes to you damaged or defective,
Residtronics Inc. will arrange pick up of the item for return and
will send a replacement item once pick up of the original shipment has
been confirmed. If an item becomes defective after 20 days, you will
need to send the defective merchandise to the manufacturer or service
location for replacement or repair.

Returns
You may return items purchased (custom products not
applicable) from Residtronics Inc. within 14 days of
delivery for a refund on the returned product, minus a
restocking fee.
You will need to obtain a RMA (Return Merchandise
Authorization) from Residtronics Inc in order to
return a product.
We'll pay the return shipping cost if the return is a
result of our error, or if an item is being returned
because it has been received damaged or defective.
Please note, however, that we are unable to exchange
items.
We cannot accept returns of items in certain
instances, including:
- Any item that have been custom built and projectors
unless received defective or broken in transport.
- Any item that has not been issued an RMA (Return
Merchandise Authorization) for by Residtronics Inc..
- Any item that has been delivered back to
Residtronics Inc. more than 25 days after the date you
have originally received delivery.
- Any item that has been altered or damaged (other
than shipping damages).
- Any item that is not in its original condition, or
not in its original packaging, or is missing
parts.
Here's what you need to do to
return a product
- Click
here to Complete the RMA Form.
- You will receive a confirmation of your RMA request
via e-mail, along with a RMA number and return
shipping instructions. This process could take up to 5
business days.
- Ship the returned item to Residtronics Inc.
according to the shipping instructions on your RMA
email form. You should probably insure the shipment
for its value.
- The RMA number must be referenced on the shipping
label.
- The RMA form that we have approved must be enclosed
in the package.
Residtronics Inc. Return Policy
- Merchandise that has been damaged or altered can not
be returned.
- You must obtain a RMA (Return Merchandise
Authorization) from Residtronics Inc. in order to
return a product. No merchandise will be accepted
without a RMA number. Any returns that we receive that
have not been given a RMA number will be refused.
- You must ship returned product no more than 14 days
after you originally received delivery.
- Residtronics Inc must receive delivery of your
return no more than 25 days after you originally
received delivery.
- A 20% restocking fee will be assessed on all
returned products. Once returned product is
received by Residtronics Inc., you will be refunded
the price you paid for the returned item minus 20%
restocking fee, plus shipping costs, even if your
product was shipped (free shipping)
- Refund can only be given towards approved returns
(with a valid RMA number given to you by Residtronics
Inc.) for product that arrives in its original new
condition, in its original new condition, in its
original packaging, and is not missing parts.
- If returned product arrives back at Residtronics
Inc. not in its original new condition, or not in its
original packaging, or it is missing parts, a higher
than 15% restocking fee may be assessed at
Residtronics Inc. discretion.
- If returned product arrives back at Residtronics Inc
not in its original new condition, or not in its
original packaging, or it is missing parts, the return
may be rejected at Residtronics Inc. discretion.
- Shipping charges are non refundable.
- Refund processing may take up to 30 days to
complete.
Defective merchandise
- Please check your merchandise upon receipt to make
sure it is ok.
- If the merchandise you received is defective,
please
complete our RMA form within 5 days of delivery to arrange
for a replacement.
- Residtronics Inc. will issue you a RMA (Return
Merchandise Authorization).
- You will be required to ship the defective product
to Residtronics Inc. according to the shipping
instructions on your RMA form emailed to you. The
shipment must be insured for its value. Residtronics
Inc. will incur the shipping cost.
- Residtronics Inc. must receive the returned
defective product in its original new condition, in
its original packaging, and with no missing parts.
- A replacement will be shipped out to you upon
Residtronics Inc. receiving the returned defective
product.
- No refunds are given for defective merchandise.
Damaged merchandise
- Please check your merchandise upon receipt to make
sure it is ok.
- If the merchandise being delivered to you is
damaged, you should refuse to receive delivery, and complete
our RMA form.
- If the merchandise you received is damaged, please
please
complete our RMA form within 3 days of delivery to arrange for a
replacement.
- Please hold on to the product in its original
packaging until further instructions from Residtronics
Inc. (since product inspection by the shipper may be
required).
- A replacement will be shipped out to you upon
Residtronics Inc. receiving the shippers
acknowledgment of their responsibility for the damaged
product.
- No refunds are given for damaged merchandise.
